The Silver Dollar City Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families grow closer together in the communities of Stone and Taney counties. The Silver Dollar City Foundation was incorporated as a 501c(3) private foundation in December of 1996, providing grants to support youth and adult ministry programs and projects strengthening families.
Over the past 18 school years, Silver Dollar City Foundation’s Care For Kids program has provided more than $2.3 million to schools districts, empowering educators to be able to meet the physical needs of students. During the 2023-2024 school year, that funding resulted in more than 5,100 instances of impact – that’s more than 5,100 times needs were met for Stone and Taney county children.
“The Care for Kids program is, in a word, hope,” explains Kirbyville Associate Superintendent Leanne West. “The generous funding provided by the Silver Dollar City Foundation allows school districts to see and meet needs in an efficient and personal manner.”
