Gracious Heavenly Father... I give you thanks for your forgiveness and the many blessings! Today, I ask for your love to be shared with students in our schools across Stone and Taney Counties. To use area community partners to reach students where they are as we strive to share your love with them in so many ways. I pray specifically for the Care for Kids volunteer "Lunch Buddies," our youth leaders from our area churches, Young Life, K-Life, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and other mentors. I pray for the students moms and dads plus others caregivers including grandparents and foster parents - that your love would be shared through them as well. Thank you again for your unconditional love! Amen.

Pray with me for Angel, a 1st grader. A very troubled, out of control, child who is full of pain and anger. His mood swings, outbursts & disregard for authority make it difficult, if not impossible for him to learn and are a disruption to the class. His teacher does a great job but is exhausted by the energy it takes. Pray for God to heal Angel from the inside out, to bring peace to his soul & for self-control; for healing of family & family issues; and for strength and wisdom for his teacher.

Father, I pray today for my staff, students, and their families in a time of transition. As the time draws closer for a new administrator to take over seeing for the needs of students and staff, I pray that uncertainty, anxiety, and nervousness about the new changes will be gone. I pray for each and all of the people to have a positive outlook and embrace what will be new energy and vision for our district. I pray for my own uncertainty about what is next for me. I know that my destiny is in your hands and that you are in control.

God our father,
I am praying to you today to ask you to look over the children and the people of our community. Protect them from sickness and watch over them as we go into the tough days of winter. During this time I see a lot of bad things happen with people, like depression, suicide, and people not watching over themselves like they should. We have a lot of families in the area that could really use a helping hand. I pray to you that our nation will heal so the people can get back to work so their families don’t have to suffer so much. I think you for our school and community I live and work in. I ask you these things, In Christ I pray. Amen.

Precious Lord, thank you for this season where we have opportunity to discuss with unbelievers the "reason for the season". Remind us that as your children we celebrate Christ's birth every day, for without His birth there would be no death and resurrection, no forgiveness of sin! Your love is indescribable!
