Father God, thank you for the prayers that have been and continue to be submitted for the children and students of the Tri-Lakes area. Our youth are our future. As we approach the end of the first semester of the 2018-2019 school year, I ask that you provide energy and wisdom for each instructor and supervisor of our youth as well as provide a shield of protection around them and those students they serve each day. I pray that they will have a very strong Christian influence on each child and the children will be responsive in their acceptance of Christ and Christian principles. Your blessings for us are bountiful and for that, I give you my sincere and unending thanks.
Lord, we thank you for giving us the wisdom to lead and teach our children. We know that you fight for children every day. We confess, some days, being both a parent and leader of children is tough. Many days we can feel anxious or overwhelmed. We ask that you would make us more like you, more aware of your constant presence in our lives. Please fill their families with your truth and cover them with your favor. Lord, we pray for these blessings over children, today, and every day. Amen
Please pray for my wife Kim as she has a liver procedure this week at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Our Lord and Savior, How great is Your name! Thank you for creating the natural beauty we live in, for our daily bread and breath. Help us to never take Your love and mercy for granted. Make us Your hands and feet in OMC so others may see Your love. In the precious name of Jesus, amen
Gracious and loving Father, at this the beginning of another school year, we seek you blessing and protection of students in our area schools and colleges. Thank you for willing teachers and committed administrators. May those who are Christ followers be strong and courageous and reflect the peace and light that only come from You. Amen.
I would ask for prayer for the Blue Eye R-V School.family. May they all have a safe school year, teachers will have a Christ-like spirit of love, that staff will be unified, and their administration have positive leadership. Watch over our families as the year progresses and keep them safe. May God watch over the activities and bless each one.
Oh our heavenly Father, I know that Satan, through the world is always challenging, attacking, and misleading our children. I pray that you will watch over them and protect and shield them from this evil. Use us dear Father as part of your shield, as one of your soldiers, as a child protector. Help us to do the work you have given us, to feed the hungry, to provide them shelter, to teach them your Holy Word. After all Father, we should remember what your Son told us about children (Mark 10, "we must accept God's Kingdom as a little child accepts things, or we will never enter it" IEB). So, Father, please protect and feed them and help us to do so as well. Through your Son, Jesus, and in His name we pray. Amen
Thank you for the outreach opportunities You put before us in OMC to expand Your Kingdom. Thank you for the band of brothers and sisters in Your name. Give those servants, You send, Your heart and eyes. Provide strength and the words necessary to reach the lost. Father, I pray for those who are struggling with addictions ( drugs, alcohol, sex, homosexuality and violence). Please send the right people in their path to lead them to You, so they may come to know the Giver of Life, peace, respite and unconditional love. For You know their struggles and pain. You are the only Holy One who can heal them and set them free from addiction. I pray for the loved ones impacted by addiction. I am thankful their cries don’t land on deaf ears Lord, that You hear each cry and see each tear. Lord, I pray for You to stifle the prince of darkness’ reign in these children’s and adults’ lives, releasing them from the bondage of their pain, suffering and sin so they can know YOU for who You are.
Lord, give me humility to put your needs and wants first and strength and endurance to run the race you have set before me. As a new public school year begins, may your peace shelter and protect tender hearts and souls during this time of transition. May students see teachers and school staff as adults who truly care for them and their families. Protect the hearts of our committed teachers, as they meet and assess each new student and situation. Purge our area schools from those adults who aren't in love with their jobs and the children under their care. Help release them from their present positions, so they might find service to your kingdom elsewhere. "To everything there is a season..." Let them know they are not trapped. If they will turn to your for guidance, you will give them answers.
Father I ask you to prepare the heart of each teacher who will be returning to school in the next few weeks. We have such a grand responsibility, being trusted with the hearts and minds of the students who will be entering our schools. Make us compassionate, encouraging, truth tellers, and willing to see beyond the surface. Please keep us from pride, self-centeredness and negativity. You have ordained our days. May we be mindful of our God appointed days to impact this world with love. Use us for your will. In the name of Jesus, Amen
