I pray for the children of Stone and Taney counties as well as those in Newton and McDonald counties as well as all children in our great state and nation. Lord please cover them with your blessings and protect them from the forces of evil that would do them harm. I pray that you cover them in your peace and grace as the world attempts to tear them down. Help our school and legislative leaders to be strong God centered leaders who through your strength and guidance provide leadership.
God please continue to bless the families and school workers who continually go above and beyond to provide safe places for children while in schools care and give them the strength and guidance to show the love of Christ in all that they do for children
I ask all of this in the name of your loving Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior,
I pray that Branson Public Schools would keep the volunteer program but still continue doing background checks on all volunteers and teachers. And don't let one unknown named teacher ruin it for everyone for there mistake.
Thank you for providing all we need to live and grow in Your Word. Help our school and community leaders to use the Word as a source of strength and guidance. Help them to reflect Your image as they lead and interact with students, parents, and staff. Help them to apply the wisdom that they find in You.
For the students, we ask that You'd protect them from their own foolishness as Proverbs says. Help them to see wisdom and instruction. God we understand that our teachers are instruments in Your hand to help our students thrive and grow. Please bless the interactions between teachers and students.
For those who lack resources, please help connect them to resources. For those who lack spiritual leadership, please bring the right mentor in their lives. For those who lack discernment, please raise up good peers among them. For those who need You, please reach them.
Thank you for choosing to work in my life and the lives of our students, parents, and community.
We worship you. May blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving, and honor, and might, be to You forever and ever. Amen.
Lord, You know the needs far and wide. Today I ask that you wrap your comforting arms around our students who need peace and relief for their struggles. Lord, many of our families are facing the trials that come with this imperfect world and need the peace that comes from knowing you and only you as their Savior. Lord, I pray specifically for these families to lean into you and experience the feeling of being full of the Holy Spirit and how that, alone, can fulfill their needs that are destroying families and breaking down family units for generations. Lord, seeking you is simple fix to their troubles. Lord, I pray that I will be bold in my actions and words to lead others to you and rejoice with new believers as they experience your everlasting love.
Father God, please continue to see over the safety of our school teachers, staff and their families, and protecting our children of Stone and Taney County. While my children are now adults and no longer near, let them know that I love them, and I am proud of who they are and what they stand for. I pray that you hear my words, and see efforts that please you as we work to educate our youth in the present and continue to implement programs that share your teachings.
We acknowledge you are a good, good Father (Psalm 100:5), faithfully loving each generation of children in Ozark Mountain Country, which includes ourselves. Thank you for inviting us to know you and be known by you; to be loved by you and to love you in return; and to grow in our knowledge of you and your ways. I join my sisters and brothers in prayer for the safety and welfare of our children in Stone and Taney counties. We seek your mind, Lord God, for how we may join you in your holy work (John 5:17) with children (Matthew 19:14). Together through prayer and fellowship we can discover your mind and will (1 Corinthians 2:16) as our Head for how to act as your Body in our greater community. Our children have many spiritual, emotional, mental, social, and physical developmental needs. How can we join you in your holy work?
Each week we see Single Moms in Care Groups who come in with heavy burdens. I see the toll these struggles have on the children of our community. Please pray for the children of these broken homes who often worry about the burdens that their moms carry alone. The worry and fear stunts their growth - spiritually, emotionally and certainly mentally. I am quite certain children go to school tired because they have endured sleepless nights worrying over a mom fighting to pay the bills, fighting to keep them in a safe home, or a mom fighting with an ex, or an abusive relationship of some sort. I ask for God to be a shield of protection that His word promises over all the broken households of Stone and Taney County.
A personal request, please also pray for my father struggling to overcome the affects of colon surgery 14 months ago.
Heavenly Father we pray for your blessing to be poured out on the children of Taney and Stone counties. We ask you to provide every need so that each child can be whole healthy and able to get a great education and fulfill their dreams! We pray that every child would feel valued and loved by a significant adult and none would feel lonely and left out. Build strong Godly families in the homes of these children and may these schools be the most successful in our nation. I pray this in Jesus' name and for His glory!
My wife, Kym, has a rare cancer, and this week we are going to Denver for her to get some treatment on her liver. I would like prayer for a safe trip and a successful surgery.
Please pray for all our students, staff and faculty. Life is so precious and so are all our little ones.
