Father God, we're lifting a prayer for all the families effected by closings of extended day hotels. We pray that their needs will be met and the children find a place they can call home. Mom & Dad can sleep knowing they're OK. As a community our burden is heavy and we seek your will and protection upon those that need help the most. Direct us to those that need us most today!
Pray for my friend Wally Swift as she prepares to honor her dear husband John as he has entered into the gates of Heaven. He'll be laid to rest at our Lady of the Lake Church on Saturday.
Father God as we prepare to welcome our guests and families into this community we pray that you will call your people that you've placed in this community to seek your will and your purpose in their lives so that they may in turn share your love with all that come to Ozark Mountain Country. You are doing mighty works and have a higher calling on our area and I pray that we are always mindful to seek everything spiritual that is happening around us that we will be ready and act when you call upon us.
Dear Father, I thank you for your Faithfulness in the past and pray that you would continue to bless each teacher and school administrator in Stone and Taney County. Make them to be vessels of Blessing to each student and thus Bless their families. Encourage those who are discouraged, supply the needs of those who are struggling financially and cause each to realize where/who our Blessings come from. And I give you praise for what you have done in the past which gives me assurance that You will continue to supply my needs and those of others in our Community. In Your Name I pray, Amen.
December and January are the months that experience the most for domestic/family violence. I know there is a lot of pressure on the dads and moms to provide for their families and the inadequacies that make them feel helpless. Depression rears its ugly head and stress maximizes. If God can work through each of us to provide a needed smile, a random act of kindness and bless these families, we can be the hands of God to reduce this pressure. Be conscious of those who need our prayers and help to get through the tough times. God knows and wants these families (and us) to thrive and not just survive. Pray for a window of opportunity to share the love of Christ through whatever means He enables us to give others.
